Margaret Mastrangelo worked as a nurse practitioner in adult medicine until her diagnosis of Stage IIIC ovarian cancer in 2015 and has been in remission since her treatment ended. She currently serves on her town’s Board of Health. She also participates on a national level as a consumer advocate to help award research grants in the area of ovarian cancer at the Department of Defense.
