More Than an Annual Event

Those who attend the retreat become part of a special community where women listen to, understand, and support each other through their experiences with ovarian cancer. In this community, we build friendships, nurture each other through tough times, celebrate good times, and learn how to live our best lives. . . together.

The Retreat Experience

Quotes from Participants

  • This has been one of the most memorable experiences of my life… I am brought to tears of joy when I think of my experiences… I feel truly blessed to be a part of this special community.
  • It was beyond my wildest dreams in so many ways. I didn't realize how much I needed to be taken care of until I was by everyone at TTT. I felt so welcomed and a part of the group.
  • I have learned so many things about myself. I experienced new things such as the ropes course and rock wall climbing. These activities have shown me about what trust feels like when people 'have my back.'
  • Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Seeing all of these incredible women who have recurred or are in treatment took away some of my fear. My life's forever changed by this group.
  • The retreat is amazing. I wish everyone with a diagnosis like ovarian cancer had a group like this to come to and be with.
  • Thank you for providing this safe, supportive, educational, fun, and inspirational space for women going through so much.
  • I am so appreciative of just how restorative the retreat is for me. Attending makes living with ovarian cancer easier.
  • So glad I found you and was able to participate and make new friends.
  • I am particularly introverted and shy away from large group gatherings but I found this group of women to all be welcoming.
  • TTT is a Godsend opportunity of love, caring, and sisterhood for survivors of ovarian cancer.
  • I am now a part of a community of wise and compassionate women.
  • I love TTT. I am so glad to be a member. You all have added immeasurably to my life. I truly feel a part of this tribe!
  • I got an injection of courage! I feel like the cowardly lion who had courage but did not know it. You all made me see I can do this.
  • I am so grateful for the gift of the TTT sisterhood!
  • Having a safe space to be "real" and being surrounded by so many strong women was incredible!
  • This retreat was such a safe space where I felt it was OK to cry (a lot!) The freedom to feel (and share) my feelings was so therapeutic.
  • The attention to detail and the considerable thought that goes into the detail, planning, and execution is astounding!
  • There is so much love involved that sometimes it is overwhelming in a very good way.
  • I just find the TTT retreat so nurturing to my soul. I feel pampered and stress free.
  • My life is profoundly changed for the better. I have never met such a caring, loving, dedicated group of women who are giving it their ALL for the benefit of others.
  • I anticipated that the retreat would provide a respite from the day-to-day hardships of ovarian cancer. What I found was a community of courageous and understanding women whose extraordinary support of each other continues throughout the year.
